Part-Time Early Childhood Assistant Teacher – starting August 2026
We are seeking additions to our Early Childhood Assistant Teacher team. This position is an important part of the Early Childhood Program, and supports various needs in the classroom, including the daily rhythm of circle time, story time, meals, nap, and an abundance of indoor and outdoor play.
An ideal candidate would:
- Have a background in or a strong interest in play-based early childhood pedagogies including Waldorf Education
- Have excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Have strengths developing and maintaining relationships with colleagues and children
- Have strengths in positive discipline approaches
- Demonstrate a love and enthusiasm for the art of teaching young children

Full- or Part-Time Administrative Assistant (Early Childhood Campus) – starting August 2026
Our EC Office is in need of an assistant during our office hours, Monday-Friday from 8am to 3:30pm. Full-time or availability from 11am-3:30pm Monday-Friday is preferred.
An ideal candidate would:
- Have familiarity with Great Oak School and Waldorf education
- Have proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Canva (or Adobe Creative Suite)
- Be organized, detail-oriented, and a clear communicator
- Should also be comfortable with getting lots of steps, in all types of weather, as well as interacting with our youngest students

Part-Time Grades Spanish Teacher – starting August 2026
We are seeking a teacher who is ready to share their warmth, enthusiasm, and joy as a Part-Time Grades Spanish Teacher.
An ideal candidate would:
- Have a passion for teaching with a conscious, caring curriculum alongside collaborative, supportive colleagues
- Hold a bachelor’s degree
- Have excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Be a life-long learner interested in child development, and self-development
- Be able to teach Spanish to a variety of grades (1-8)

Part-Time Aftercare Teacher – starting August 2026
Our Aftercare program is an important part of our community offerings, and we are seeking an energetic and creative person to lead Aftercare Monday-Friday from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. Aftercare is offered for kindergarten through 8th Grade, so the ideal candidate would be flexible with a wide age-range of children. As with all our programming, we strive to spend as much time outside as possible, and our Aftercare teacher would also be asked to assist with childcare during events such as Parent-Teacher conferences, Town Halls, and faculty in-service meetings.
